REBEL SCREAMS
In my altered state of mind
I find the ghost that hides behind my
vanity
I introduce her center stage
And their promises engage my guarantees
For a curtain call to bring
The most miraculous thing they've ever
seen
Bring this curtain call to an end
Tell my dignity to give-in
And let's begin
I'll drink to thee
And learn to love your tragic ways and your cheap clichés
And
your wicked gaze staring right through me\
You'll lust to love the
way that I dance to think
And the sound my subtext makes when I'm
whispering
My Rebel Screams
In the desert of my mind
I get thirsty for wine and roses
And these days they intertwine
Into cobwebs and paralyzed poses
But I learn to love these tragic days in the same way
That I learned
to betray my vanity
They still love the way that I dance to think
And the sound my subtext
makes when I'm whispering
My Rebel Screams
I'll lust to love your tragic ways and your cheap clichés
And
your wicked gaze staring right through me
You'll lust to love the
way that I dance to think
And the sound my subtext makes when I'm
whispering
My Rebel Screams
